ACF affiliate foundations help connect nonprofits, corporations, families, and individuals with charitable needs and interests in local communities. Based in West Helena, Arkansas, the executive director and board of directors at PCCF “work together to establish endowment funds, build assets and award grants to help meet community needs.” PCCF funds local education, children and youth, basic needs, and hunger relief efforts.

The Phillips County Community Foundation awards grants through the Arkansas Community Foundation’s Giving Tree Grants program. These grants go to nonprofits, government agencies, schools, and other charitable groups that serve residents at the local level. In the past, CFLC also provided Science Initiative for Middle Schools (SIMS) Grants to support middle school science teachers.

Grants range between about $500 and $2,000. Learn more about this funder’s local giving on the ACF recent grants page. Read about recent grants on the funder’s news page. Grantmaking focuses on Phillips County, Arkansas and especially the town of West Helena.

This foundation accepts unsolicited grant applications from nonprofits. The application window is typically from January 10 to February 15 each year for Giving Tree awards. The foundation utilizes an online grants system to review funding requests. Direct general questions to the foundation at phillipscounty@arcf.org.
