PROFILE: Established in 1971, the Perkins-Ponder Foundation is a private foundation based in Georgia. The founders wished for the foundation to assist charitable groups that provide services to local residents in their home region. Managed by Bank of America’s Georgia’s office, grantmaking supports human services, underprivileged children, and the elderly.

This funder primarily supports groups that aid and assist elderly, economically disadvantaged women who are dependent. Perkins-Ponder also funds work that addresses underprivileged local children.
