OVERVIEW: Frank Brosens and his wife Deenie conduct their philanthropy through the Frank and Deenie Brosens Foundation, which gave away a little more than $708,000 from 20018 to 2019. Brosens steadily supports his alma mater Princeton, and health is another major interest.
BACKGROUND: Frank Brosens received a BSE in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Princeton University in 1979. He was a general partner at Goldman Sachs before founding Taconic Capital.

EDUCATION & YOUTH: Brosens steadily supports his alma mater Princeton, where one of the couple’s sons was also schooled. Other grantees include Georgetown University, Weill Cornell Medical College, Prospect Schools, and ReadWorks. Deenie holds an MSW from NYU and has supported social work students.
HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES: Deenie is involved with Washington Square Institute, a nonprofit psychoanalytic institute and treatment center. The Brosens have supported Active Minds, a “nonprofit organization that empowers students to speak openly about mental health in order to educate others and encourage help-seeking,” Center for Hearing and Communication, City Meals-on-Wheels, Fibrolamellar Cancer Foundation, and Northern Westchester Hospital, whose board Brosens once chaired.

ARTS & CULTURE: The Brosens have supported American Friends of Musée d’Orsay, American Museum of Natural History, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and The Museum of Modern Art.
OTHER: The couple has backed Transportation Alternatives and Junior Tennis Champions Center. One son played tennis for Princeton.
