In operation since 2006, DABS Consulting, LLC is a boutique woman-owned company that provides strategic fund development and management that creates innovative programs, fills service gaps, and expands the impact of client-driven missions. Our expertise is pre-award administration, proposal and contract development, and post-award services to both nonprofit and for-profit entities. We engage with clients through a per project, short-term (1-9 months), and long-term (10+ months) assignments. Registered in the State of Maryland, DABSLLC operates under a service philosophy that gives clients the most advantageous position from which to meet their missions.
Philosophy/Approach: DABS Consulting LLC offers individuals, local communities, and corporations a shared space for more effective fund development. Today, this idea has matured into “community-centric” philanthropy that embraces, acknowledges, and results in higher social impact, strategic collaborations, and responsive and equitable resource allocation.

Specialization: Our specialization is tailored to the unique needs of the client. We provide revenue growth services to generate funds for programs and markets. For clients, our work translates into impactful bottom line investments such as evaluations, assessments, proposals, advocacy, strategic plans, business plans, program implementation, and developing grant review processes. The company places particular emphasis on community revitalization, youth development, education, health, general operating support, and public policy initiatives.
DABS provided our organization with expert knowledge in securing grant awards for general operating expenses. We received an award from a major funder to facilitate our transition from a fiscal agent to our current standing as a nonprofit with 501 (c) status.
